NCCCC Member Services
Why Join
Campus child care directors, teachers and early childhood faculty often feel isolated from other college and university early childhood professionals. Although we share many commonalities with ECE professionals in our own communities, the fact that we are part of a system at an institution of higher learning makes our situations unique.
The feeling most reported from new members who join NCCCC or who attend conferences is, "I'm home! There are others who understand what I do and the challenges I encounter."
There is a wealth of information available to members that can help confront issues such as working with campus administrators, systems and politics; funding sources and budgets; student involvement and teacher preparation; balancing the institutional mission of research, education and service; the image of campus children’s centers in the community as "ideal" rather than "real"; starting and designing a campus center; comparing your situation with the national members through recent survey data.
The professional support and assistance you receive from NCCCC can make a difference between facing challenges alone or meeting them in a confident manner knowing you have the support of a national organization behind you.
Who are Our Members?
