Members/Membership Questions
- When does the membership year run?
From January 1st to December 31st, regardless of the date you join. - I’m trying to log onto the Member’s Only web page and don’t know my username and password. Where can I find it?
It is on the back of your business-sized membership card. Members can also find the username and password in the Office News section of each Journal. If you have lost the card, please contact NCCCC. - When should I expect the Journal, Web news, and Membership Directory?
Generally, members receive the 3 issues of the Journal in late February, June, and October. The Web News is online only, and will also appear at those times in the Member’s Only web pages. The NCCCC Membership Directory usually comes at the end of April.
Listserv Questions
- Why am I not receiving listserv messages?
There may be a couple of reasons. Did you give NCCCC your e-mail on your membership application? Are you a current NCCCC member? Have you provided your full e-mail address, rather than a campus abbreviated e-mail? If all of these are true you should contact NCCCC, as something else may be wrong. - How do I unsubscribe from the listserv?
To unsubscribe from CAMPUSCARE-L, all you need to do is send a one-line e-mail message that reads:
signoff CAMPUSCARE-L
*Note that there is no reason to include a subject, your name, or your e-mail address.
Send the message to: listserv@listserv.uiuc.edu
*NOTE: Your message should not include a "signature" if at all possible, because the computer will try to interpret the lines of your signature as commands. You should receive a note confirming your signoff within a few minutes (although sometimes it can take and hour or two). - I am going on vacation and do not want to receive listserv messages for awhile. How can I do this?

(Don’t forget to find directions for setting your email to active status when you return from vacation or long breaks.) - I love the listserv, but don’t want to receive so many e-mails. Are there other options?
Yes! You can set your account to “Digest”, where you will receive only ONE message per day from CAMPUSCARE-L which includes ALL of the day's postings collected together. For directions go to:

There is no charge, even if you are a non–member. For members that are on the listserv, you simply write out the job announcement in a listserv message (attachments are not allowed). For members who are not on the listserv and non-members, you can e-mail the job to NCCCC@uni.edu and they will post it to the listserv for you.
